| Our beloved "portables." A curious word,
since "portable" suggests that they would eventually be moved somewhere
else! Remember making a mad dash to and from the portables when it
was raining? And how about those "sidewalks" that looked like compressed
Shredded Wheat that would disintegrate until they were filled with potholes.
